Radical Part Numbers Explained

Radical part numbers are short and consistent once you know the pattern. This page explains how they are built, how our SKUs relate to them, and the fastest way to find a part you already have a number for.

The factory number

A Radical Motorsport part number is normally two letters followed by four digits, such as EX0225 (an exhaust primary) or FR0027 (an adjustable fuel regulator). The letter pair groups the part by area of the car, so numbers beginning EX are exhaust, BL are brake lines, MN are noses, and so on.

Some numbers carry a slash before the last group, such as 7M05/008 or 7I06/013. These are mostly fasteners and hardware, where the digits after the slash identify the exact size within a family.

Suffixes: material and colour

Where the same part is offered in more than one material or finish, a suffix follows a slash at the end of the number. Two families appear in this catalogue:

• /C - carbon fibre. RAD-MD0065/C1 is a carbon front splitter for the SR10; MW0087/C4 is a carbon wing.
• /G - gel coat, with the digit giving the colour. /G1 is white (RAD-MN0101/G1, nose, white with louvres), /G2 is grey (RAD-ML0046/G2, front louvre, grey), and /G3 is black (RAD-ML0047/G3, front louvre, black).

So the same nose moulding can appear as several listings that differ only in the suffix. Check the suffix before ordering bodywork, because the finish is not something that can be changed afterwards.

Our SKUs

We add a short supplier prefix to the factory number so the catalogue can hold parts from more than one source:

• RAD- genuine Radical Motorsport parts. Radical part 7M05/008 is listed here as RAD-7M05/008.
• CRW- parts Crown designs and builds in-house, such as pedal box extensions and chassis tabs.
• Other short codes are third-party suppliers, for example McMaster-Carr hardware, AiM electronics, Suzuki OEM engine parts, Quaife and Rekluse. These are grouped under Other Parts.

The prefix is ours, not Radical's. If you are cross-checking against factory paperwork, ignore everything before the first dash.

Finding a part by number

Type the number into the search box at the top of any page. It matches with or without the slash, so both 7M05/008 and 7M05008 will find the same part, and it matches our RAD- and CRW- prefixes too.

Product web addresses use the number with the slash removed and the name added, so RAD-7M05/008 lives at /products/7m05008-m5-nyloc. If you have a link with a number in it, that is why it looks different from the number on the part.

Searching by description works as well - nyloc nut, fuel regulator, brake caliper - and every product page lists its part number, manufacturer, fitment and assembly.

If the number does not match anything

Radical supersedes parts over time, and some numbers on older paperwork have been replaced. A few possibilities:

• The part is listed under a superseded or replacement number. Send us the original and we will trace it.
• The part exists but is not listed online. We can order most of the factory catalogue whether or not it appears here.
• The number is a sub-component of a larger assembly. Browse the parts index to find the assembly it belongs to.

Which car do I have?

Fitment is listed on every product page and the catalogue is also split by model: SR3 RSX, SR3 XX, SR3 XXR, SR10 and RXC. Parts common to every SR3 generation are grouped under Universal SR3.

Many parts are also handed, listed as LHD, RHD or CHD for left, right and centre drive. Pedal boxes, steering racks, brake lines, clutch lines and ballast all differ by hand, so check before ordering.
