Product details
A 3.071 to 1 ratio gear pair for the SR3 gear drive unit (GDU). The pair sets the final drive; changing it is how the car is geared for each circuit. Radical lists six GDU ratios: 2.770, 2.917, 3.071, 3.235, 3.409 and 3.594 to 1 (TQ0044 to TQ0049; TQ0045R to TQ0049R are listed separately). A higher number is a shorter final drive, giving harder acceleration and a lower top speed, so the ratio is chosen per circuit.
